I’ve been revamping a few short erotica pieces I wrote earlier this year. Fairly standard stuff: 6 000 words or so, and the last two or three thousand are the sporting pages

I thought I’d give a prompting sequence I found online a run. Treat the chapters already written as drafts, one prompt does the edit plan using a thinking model and the second fixes all the problems uncovered by the first, in a model good for lyrical prose

The setup and character development - such as it is - goes okay apart from Claude tending to regard any humour, puns, or cultural references as being awkward phrasing that can be smoothed out.

The payoff chapters have been hard; 1 400 words of steamy action becomes:

Sonnet 3.7 - 1 375 words, loses a little steam, gains a bit more general sensation. Paid close attention to the edit plan. Bliss sounded a bit like pain:

The muscles in her thighs tensed, her fingers dug into my skin, and a low, keening sound escaped her.
