Slim pickings on the smut circuit

Some would say that these are pretty good figures for a writer just starting out on a five year voyage to explore the realms of smutty writing.

I’ve now got ten “books” live on Amazon. I’m starting to build up a catalogue. Each new book has links to the others as well as my social media accounts, Goodreads, Amazon author page, and this newsletter.

I’m reasonably confident of making a go of this. The hard part is finding time for quality writing, given my significant overhead of other claims on my time and the necessary work needed to publish a book. Designing a cover, building a blurb, uploading backmatter. and so on. Every new book I publish may involve listing it in the backmatter of all those existing, and once I get to a hundred or so titles, that’s a fair bit of work!

I’m actually maintaining a steady ten dollars a week on the numbers with every chance of that number going up over the next six days.

I know I promised another hot sex story. I ran into some problems and am rewriting it as two stories that are more coherent and commercial.

In point of fact I’ve only published two all-new stories this year. This is not half as easy as I thought it would be!
